Chiwetalu Agu, the popular Nigerian Nollywood actor is well known for his comic movies in the Nigerian movie industry. However, recently he was arrested by the Nigerian Army for putting up an attire that seems to be like the Biafran raggalia. After much questioning by the Nigerian Army, he was released and set free. Soon after his release by the Nigerian Army headquarters was also rearrested by the Nigerian security police, DSS, for further investigation, but was later subsequently released. However, after his release he was seen in a video making rounds on social media where he spoke about his arrest. In the video, there are two statements made by him that were totally wrong and could lead to his rearrested by the Nigerian government. Here are the statements;1. The Earlier Nigeria Split The Earlier The Better.
Chiwetalu Agu was totally wrong by making such assertions. Nigeria is best as a unified and one country. The diversity of Nigeria is what makes it unique. We all benefit from the unity we all enjoy in Nigeria, ranging from Agricultural produce and natural resources that are abundant in Nigeria. This statement made by Chiwetalu Agu is totally wrong and could lead to his rearrest. 2. The Government Has Done Nothing For The Igbo's.
This is a very wrong assertion from Chiwetalu Agu. The Igbo's on daily basis continues to benefit from the federal government in one way or the other. Ranging from good roads, infrastructural developments, Electricity, etc.
The survival fund distributed by the federal government was distributed in all parts of the country, inwhich the Igbo's benefited greatly from it.
