These popular Nigerian Musicians have at one time or the other been in trouble with the law. For some, their status in society couldn't save them, while for others, it was more like being at the wrong place at the wrong time. Despite all they went through, they never stopped their career.

Davido is a popular Nigerian Musician. In 2011, Davido was arrested by members of the police force sent by his father for dropping out of school without his permission.
He and his father later reached an agreement that if he want to pursue his music career, he will get a degree in a private Nigerian University but Davido broke the agreement and started releasing music and attending shows.
Obesere is a popular fuji musician. In 2014, Obesere was allegedly arrested for Molesting a 29-year-old woman who he claimed she was his lover.
He was released on administrative bail but was rearrested after a medical test was conducted on the victim.
3. Tiwa Savage
Tiwa Savage is a Nigerian singer, songwriter and actress. In 2014, Tiwa Savage was arrested for allegedly assaulting a police officer. She didn't obey the traffic light around Adetokunbo Ademola Street.
Tiwa was pursued by the police officers after she refused to park her car when she was accosted. She later stopped and was taken to the police station. She was set free after apologizing to the police officer.
4. Zlatan and Naira Marley
Zlatan and Naira Marley are both Nigerian Musicians. In 2019, they were both arrested for allegedly involving in internet fraud and money laundering.
They were released on administrative bail and became famous after the whole issue.
Despite what these Musicians went through, they never gave up their music career.
