Bola Are who is a former president of the Gospel Musicans Association Of Nigeria and gospel singer, was born on 1st October, 1954.
She received her primary school education from Christ Apostolic Church (C.A.C) Primary School.
She went to The Polytechnic, Ibadan to obtain a diploma certification in accounting.
Bola Are started singing from the age of two.
Prior to her music career, Evangelist Bola Are said she knew she would serve the Lord at a very young age.
Thereafter, her parents told her that she started singing a few days before her first birthday, therefore, Bola Are considers herself a born singer.
Since her childhood age, Evangelist Bola Are has been spending all her time singing so as to have her secret dreams of making it big as a great gospel singer.
In her music career, she has released many hit songs that are motivating which include Lion of Judah (1995), Apostle Joseph Ayodele Babalola (2000), Power In Praise (2000), Bola Are Live (1971) and others. In 1977, Bola Are releases an album titled, Baba Ku Ise.
In an interview with The Punch in 2017, Evangelist Bola Are said her album, Baba Ku Ise healed a mad man.
She told The Punch in 2017, that she got the inspiration for the album when she was passing through the house of the late Obafemi Awolowo, then she heard a voice that commanded her to stop at the narrow path she was.
Bola Are said the Lord gave her the song on the road at about 6:30 am; adding that it was as if she was in a trance because everyone who passed by her greeted her but she did not respond because she could not hear them.
Now, her success in her music career made St. John's University awarded her an honorary doctorate degree in music.
Well, a lot of Nigerians love listening to Evangelist Bola Are's gospel songs as her songs are always inspiring.
