FELA KUTI: Who else leads the way if not him. The man, The legend, The myth. He is one of the very few people (if not the only one), to bring modern music into Nigeria and Africa as a whole. He is the pioneer of original music with original lyrics and meaningful content in Nigeria, he is one of a kind, he created a legacy that will forever be remembered and followed. Rest on Legend.

2FACE: He is the definition of Good music. If you are a true music fan and you seem to enjoy good music, then you can never hate him. He has been a very good servant of the industry serving us good music every time he enters a recording studio.

WIZKID: Maybe you are in the Davido Fc circle but you can't hate him. He singlehandedly pushed Nigeria Music globally with songs that just can't stay local. WizzyLion like his fans calls him is the name that will be remembered forever when you talk music even in Nigeria and Africa as a whole.

OLAMIDE: Be Wizkid Fc or Davido Fc but you can't hate the man called Olamide. When the street is getting bored of a particular genre of song, Baddo will always come with something new ands different. Mr Consistency of Nigeria music. He never disappoints regardless of your taste for music, he will always make sure you the street don't get boring. Olamide is the reason every upcoming artiste in Nigeria now believes, they are able to believe that they can make it no matter their background.

P SQUARE: The inspiration behind new music groups in Nigeria. Well if you ask me, I would say these guys killed their careers when they had that fight, the one that made them go their separate ways. When together they served us songs that no matter your ethnicity, you would listen and enjoy. Different genre of songs, blues, dancehall, love songs...... Lots. They might not be P square anymore, but those guys are living legends and they are inspiration to the coming generations.

DAVIDO Who else understands the business of music as an Artiste than the Baddest, who enjoys being a music superstar more than him, tell me a more popular Music celebrity in Nigeria. He is one of the reasons Nigeria music would never die. He is a role model to every new acts coming up because he serves the Best of everything to his fans.

BRYMO: Maybe you don't listen to him much but if you've ever heard his sound, I am straight sure you would have asked that question, that question we all asked when we first heard him 'who is this amazing guy'. The only underrated artiste on this list, He is one of the few producing real music to fans in Nigeria. Since bursting into the scene he has been serving undeniably amazing sounds. He has been showing everyone in the industry that quality and quality is achievable.

TIWA SAVAGE: The woman who paved the way for the female in the industry. The Nigeria music industry has been largely dominated by male, which has made it very hard for the ladies to make it into but then Tiwa showed, broke the barrier and has been leading by example ever since. She is the reason we have so many female acts now in the industry.

DAGRIN: Nigeria very own Tupac. He didn't live very long but he made an impact in the industry. He laid foundation many indigenous rappers in Nigeria now enjoy. He proved no matter your language, as long as you have something to say, you can say it even in that your own language. You left a legacy and we thank you for that Barrack O'grin.

DON JAZZY: Don Baba is not actually that artiste you would expect to give you an album or release a song tomorrow, but he is the Nigeria Jay Z not because he is the baddest rapper, but because he is the best in the music business. He understands the industry so well that he is always doing the big part of producing acts to please Nigerians.
