May D (Akinmayokun Awodumila) is a 35 years old Nigerian singer, songwriter and dancer.
He was formerly an artist under the former musical duo P-Square's record label "Square records". However, prior to now there seems to be a kind of falling out between him and them.
May D also refered to as Mr May D has many hits songs and international collaborations, prominent among them is P-Square's "chop my money" remix featuring him and Akon in 2017.
His other hit songs includes; Gat me high, ile ijo, bamilo, Ibadi, Sound track etc. He married Carolina Wassmuth in 2018 and has a child with her.
After waiting for Cynthia Morgan to "Call" Davido, it seems May D may have called him first as the talented legend has been signed to his 30BG (30 Billion Geng), DMW Records. The recent addition to the records label confirmed the news via his Twitter handle with excitement.
With his talent and DMW backing, we can't wait for the magic they create together.
Though there's been no news about Cynthia Morgan's talk with Davido, we are hopeful she may also join the family soon.
Congratulations May D
