Singer, Tope Alabi Apologizes Over Comment On Popular Gospel Song “Oniduro Mi”

Tope Alabi, a gospel singer, has finally apologized to Adeyinka Alaseyori for her remark on her song "Oniduro Mi."

Tope Alabi recently publicly Criticised the popular Christian song "Oniduro Mi eseun o," which was written by Adeyinka. God should not be referred to as Oniduro, which means guarantor, according to her, because he is more than a guarantor.

Tope, who claimed in the viral video that the Holy Spirit forbade her from singing the song, has now apologized, saying that she made the mistake of externalizing a personal message in public.

The singer remarked, according to Church gist, She said:

Let Me Acknowledge That I Made A Mistake By publicly externalizing a personal message, for which I am extremely sorry.

At first, I was hesitant to comment on the controversy surrounding the gospel hit song “Oniduro,” because I had interfered behind the scenes with other gospel music stakeholders. However, I learned that the dust would not settle quietly on the internet.

I'd like to make it clear that Tope Alabi, Adeyinka Adesioye a.k.a. Alaseyori, and Tolu Adelegan are all members of the same God's family and share the same calling – singing ministry.

Adeyinka is my ministerial daughter. Her pastor requested me to pray for her because she was following in my footsteps, which I gladly did. I don't envy her ? Never! I adore the young lady.

I am not yet a perfect person; I am still a work in progress in God's hands. I want people to perceive me as a mere mortal with my own flaws and human frailties, as well as a student of God's infinite knowledge.

Only God's mercy and the backing of millions of gospel music fans have brought me to where I am today.
