Donnie McClurkin was once gay

When it comes to gospel songs and worship songs that lifts the soul up to God, Donnie MCclurkin music is one to listen to, he is one the gospel artist that makes you feel the presence of God, also makes one dance too. He is also a minister.

His full name is Donald Andrew Donnie McClurkin, Jr. He has won three Grammy Awards, ten Stellar Awards, two BET Awards, two Soul Train Awards, one Dove Award and one NAACP Image Awards. He has sold over 10 million gospel albums worldwide. 

He was a victim of childhood sexual abuse at the hands of his great uncle, and years after that he suffered another sexual abuse at the hands of his great uncle's son. McClurkin, in the year 2002, told a Christian website that, due to sexual abuse and porn, he had struggled with homosexuality. McClurkin said he believes he turned gay because of childhood molestation and traumatic exposure to pornography, but was able to reverse his orientation through will and prayer
