Days later Burna Boy won the grammys for the best Album of the year, the Rivers State government deemed it fit to invite the self acclaimed African Giant home for a grand reception which he honored with a price tag. he was welcomed like a governor back to his home town. Some artiste were listed to perform at the concert which includes; Dunkan Mighty, Omah Lay etc.
One of the art who supposed to be on parade at the concert was Daniel Tuotamuno Darius professionally known as Dandizzy. He is a Nigerian rapper, singer, song writer and arguably the best freestyler in the country. He was reportedly offered the sum of three hundred thousand (N300,000) to perform at the concert but he turned it down. Dandizzy despite being a Port-Harcourt boy, did not perform at Burna Boy home coming concert.
The Governor of Rivers State Wike, promised everyone artiste who performed on stage the sum of N10m which many perceived it's to get at Dandizzy. I doubt if Wike knew about the Dandizzy saga though.
For Dandizzy, 300k is too small for him. Dandizzy gave out 100k to five fans during his Denge Pose challenge. For a guy who did that that means 300k won't evening scratch him. Sliding through his instagram page, I discovered that Port Harcourt are blessed with so much talented artiste. Dandizzy sings with everything that comes to mind, everything that he sees are lyrics to him.
See photos of Dandizzy;
Burna during the reception concert was given a land at Old GRA in Rivers State and also money to start building... He was in the company of his family, mother and sister.
