Many Nigerian fans and even celebrities have come out to show their support and also congratulate Wizkid and Burnaboy, for their achievement in winning one of the most prestigious musical awards in the world.
Despite the fact that a good number of Christians In Nigeria have also shown their support to the achievement of Wizkid and Burnaboy, some Christians have condemned it. As they feel that the Grammy award event promotes sin and would lead many to hell.
An example of these Christians who have come out with this theory, is a social media user identified as Evangelist Victor Edet.
According to a post he made on his Facebook page, he described the Grammy award as the sole property of the devil.
He also alleged that many worldly singers have had to make sacrifices in order to win the prestigious award.
He further added that any Christian who celebrates a winner of this award, stands a great chance of not making heaven.
