On Saturday, the Nigerian social media sensation and comedy skit maker, Mr Macaroni, shared his lastest comedy skit on the social media, a comedy skit which featured the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi.
The comedy skit shared on Saturday with the caption “I’m a workaholic”, has the revered monarch got Mr Macaroni to cut grasses on a field after the comedian’s failed love pursuit.
Also, the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, in the comedy skit, used the opportunity to remind people that respecting elders and especially kneeling or prostrating to greet elders, is not old-fashioned, as he urged everyone, especially the Yoruba race across the world, not to forget the highly eteemed culture of respect.
The video is believed to have been produced during Mr Macaroni’s visit to the Ooni’s palace earlier last week.
Consequently, in a rather surprising move, the former Vice-President of Nigeria and the Presidential candidate of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in the last general elections, Atiku Abubakar, who apparently got impressed after watching the video reacted to the video, by commenting the popular comedian, Mr Macaroni.
Atiku simply tweeted with the comedian’s popular parlance : “You are doing well #smiles.”
Many Nigerians who reacted to the development, appaluded the former Vice-President, Atiku, for moving closer to Nigerian youths, as it's perceived his comments was to encourage the comedian's work.
Do you think Atiku can possibly have a better plan for youths if he were the President ?
Kindly share your thoughts on this.
