Iyabo Ojo accused Funke Akindele of sponsoring a blog to discredit Toyin Abraham's new movie.
This is coming after a platform (CinemaPointer) which specializes in reviewing movies criticizes Toyin Abraham's new movie.
The platform had described Toyin Abraham's movie (The Ghost and the Tout Too) as a "haplessly brain-dead story", while also alleging that the movie star attempted to copy Akindele’s concept in "Omo Ghetto".
Iyabo Ojo reacted to the statement in the comments section, accusing Funke Akindele of funding the review.
"How much did Funke pay you to write this rubbish, the day she begins to find ways not to talk bad about her fellow colleagues or try to discredit their hardwork or personality that day she will begin to experience inner peace".
Iyabo Ojo's statement seems to be harsh, and a lot of people have predicted a beef between Funke Akindele and Iyabo Ojo.
However, Iyabo Ojo may have pointed at the wrong person, but what seems to be true, is the fact that the platform's statement is trying to discredit Toyin Abraham's movie.

Iyabo Ojo's assumptions might be correct that the platform was paid to discredit Toyin Abraham's movie, because their statement about the movie on Instagram was sentimental.
