The Nigerian International Film Summit, in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture & Tourism and EbonyLife Place, organized the Eko Star Film & TV Awards as part of the Eko Tourism, Art & Culture Series 2021, honouring talented female pioneers who call the shots in the growing Nigerian film industry. The event was held Yesterday at the ebony Life Place Victoria island, Lagos.
Popular Nollywood actress and movie Producer, Ruth Kadiri has taken to her Instagram page to express her anger after she did not win any award at the just concluded Eko star film award.
She revealed how she has been hardworking and how she has faced so many challenges being a film maker and yet she wasn't recognized. She further said that the reason for her not being recognized might be because she doesn't belong to a certain click in the movie industry. While pouring out her heart through a post, she called out the Lagos state government, Moabudu and other organizers of the show.
