Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, known professionally as Wizkid, is a Nigerian singer and songwriter. He began recording music at the age of 11 and managed to release a collaborative album with the Glorious Five, a group he and a couple of his church friends formed together before his stardom.
Wizkid's song as the lead singer in Brown Skin Girl by Beyonce recently received a BET award,along side burna boy,and rema got a nomination.
Concerning,Made in Lagos,Wizkid posted on his Instagram page,that the release date for the album will be on the 16th of July,as he posted that the album is ready and is all hits,no miss.
Wizkid also revealed the featured artists that would be on his album;Damian Marley,Ella Mia,H.E.R,Tems,Skepta,tay iwar and Terri,signed to his record label,StarBoy Entertainment
Wizkid has given us hits back to back since 2010 with his superstar album which currently has reentered the apple music charts.Fans have expressed how much they can't wait for that release date.
July willl be the month that introduces afro music to the world as Davido will also be dropping his album on July and Burns boy's album is on the way as well,it's going to be an online afro party!African music will be showcased to the world
