One thing most Big Brother Naija fans don't understand about the reality show is that it is strictly for entertainment and has nothing to do with religion or culture. Most fans of the reality show judge the show and the personality in the show based on religion and cultural values. This is wrong, as the show doesn't add religion and cultural values as part of its rules.

Big Brother reality show has been done in other countries before now, it has been a show from the '90s in other countries. There was Big Brother Africa, before the rise of Big Brother Naija. This show talks about the social lives of the individual housemates living together in a place. It doesn't display cultures or religious views as it's a social and entertainment purpose towards becoming a popular individual.
However, in my opinion, here below are 3 reasons why BBNaija reality show should not be judges base on religious and cultural views;

1. The reality show is a social one that displays civilization and modern ways of doing things. It has nothing to do with morals, culture or traditional heritage and that's why anyone with any religious background can go to the show to display their realness.
2. It is strictly for entertainment and promotion as well. That's why the show is strictly for 18 years and above and parental guidance it's advised as it promotes civilization in Nigeria.

3. The show doesn't display any culture, tradition or religious beliefs as it is free from all of them since it has been televised. Hence, you can be of any religion or culture but live your life normal.
Therefore, the above-mentioned reasons are why the Big Brother Naija reality show should not be judged base on religious and cultural views by Big Brother Naija fans.
