Debbie Shokoya is a young actress and producer that has taken the Yoruba Movie Industry by storm, but so many people might not know. She recently came into the Nollywood Industry. She joined the Industry in 2012, but has achieved in a short time.
She has produced 2 blockbuster movies such as "Bina Baku and Omo Ina". She's here again with another deep storyline titled 'Olugbeja Olohun'.
It's not the regular kind of movie you watch. It's a storyline, with a different concept, which promising to be very interesting, as it features star actors, such as Muyiwa Ademola, Sanyeri, Joke Muyiwa, Adebayo Salami, Biola Adebayo, Bimbo Oshin and many others.
The producer of the movie Debbie Shokoya, also played a lead role, as an old woman, and delivered her role in an exceptional manner. This beautiful light skinned actress is very creative and talented.
What I'm amazed about, is how the award winning makeup artist, 'Hakeemeffect' did the mask makeup on her, and made her look like a real old woman, just for the movie to be unique.
When she was recalling her experience of how she got the mask makeup on, she said it took her 4 hours to get it on, and took her some hours more, to patiently use it to act, without eating anything, so that she will not spoil it.
The most stressful part of the whole thing, was after playing the old woman scene, removing the mask makeup made her feel uncomfortable. It's was really painful, that she had to tell the person removing it, to take it easy.
The beautiful producer and fast rising actress, as really putting so much work on this new project 'Olugbeja Olohun'.
I pray God bless and reward her for it . Please, you guys should watch out for it. It's going to be interesting, because she has put so much effort in it .
