Nigerian hip-pop singer, Kosoko simisola, popularly known as Simi has voiced out against the huge sum of money that the federal government gave the bandits.
It came to awareness, this morning, that the Federal Government If Nigeria under the administration of Muhammadu Buhari is set to pay the bandits off with the sum of 800 million Nairas.
This action has eventually provoked Nigerians as the Federal Government stoops so low.
The Federal Government of Nigeria is using the ideology of 18th century to rule and fight crimes in 21st century.
Simi, on her verified Twitter page, said "Paying off people that are preying on the innocent, but the majority of the people languishing in poverty have to settle for crumbs that are not even getting to them."
In my view, The Government of Nigeria is only encouraging more people to go into banditry. Paying bandits and giving them amnesty after killing soldiers sounds sickening.
