Recall that the 2020 Headies Award was observed on the 20th of February, 2021, in which Various awards were given to the topnotch in the music industry.

Another organization, known as the Gbedu awards which was created to recognize the creative achievements of African artists, also have it's own award. The event was observed virtually on their Triller page and it gave some artists like Bella shmurda, Fireboy DML, Tems, Oxlade awards.
