Here's what he wrote, "For almost 2 years after an unsuccessful medical procedure, I've had to live through excruciating pain, unimaginable. At night I literally screamed and cried, by day I worked and smiled through it all (with really strong pain meds). Post-surgery, I feel like I've been given a new lease on life, and I want to say a special thank you to my wife for the love and care, to my family and friends for their prayers and support, to my many brand partners and employers for their patience and understanding, and to the best surgeon ever, Dr. Coker, and his entire medical team at Lagoon Hospital, I say a big thank you. Grateful to God for the road to divine recovery."

Prior to this startling revelation about his health, the actor has been delivering brilliant performances in movies featured in, despite his health challenges.
