His name is Bigvai Oreoluwa Jokotoye, he is from Ogbomosho in Our state. He was born on 13th of August to the family of late pastor and Mrs Jokotoye from Ogbomosho, he attended Ilofa grammar school in Ilofa Kwara state he then proceeded to TAC grammar school in Akure Ondo state, then the university of Ado Ekiti which is now name Ekiti state university. He dropped out of university of Ado Ekiti in the year 2001 before he proceeded to college of eviation studies.
His mother is from Cotonu in Benue republic, his late father was a pastor while his mother is business woman. He has three sisters and two brothers. When he was growing up he lived in different towns and villages as a kid because his father used to be transferred from one place to another. Unfortunately he lost his father during his diploma so it was hard for him to complete his education that was why he dropped out of secondary School.
He started acting in 1987 with church drama group of CAC church in Erinle Kwara state where his father was a pastor. This actor has been able to create a brand that many find totally awesome with his dynamic role interpretation and the display of great screen energy. His fans base increased tremendously after the making of the Yoruba movie Ikudoro produced by Toyin Abraham. Bigvai inspires many people in and outside of the industry.
His inspiration is from his late father Aluwe, Oga Bello and Yomi Fash. His biggest dream to come true is to be in Nollywood movies. He has featured in over 200 movies. The movie that shot him into the Limelight is the movie Omo Pupa which was released in the year 2008. Jokotoye is married to Adetokunbo Jokotoye. On Monday 18th of April 2016 this popular Yoruba actor was in the news prior to his quite wedding which he had with the love of his life who is base in America, the love birds legalised their relationship in California.
This actor revealed that even though the wedding was in the United State, they met in Nigeria and dated for a while before they tied the not. His wife Adetokunbo is from Ijebu Mushin in Ogun state and she is the first born of his family. Bigvai and his wife welcomed their first child on the 3 of July 2017 at the Caser permanent health care centre in California. The actor revealed that it was a joyful and happy feeling to become a father.
He also disclose that he was the one that actually cut the unblical cord of his child. The baby was named Bowofoluwa Jokotoye. He has been in the industry for 19 years now.
