America-based Nigerian musician Ikponmwosa Ogiugo has hit the Nigerian music community with his new single titled 'Life Long Love' - released May 2021.
Aside from his performance on stage a lot of Nigerians don't know much about the singer.
Who is Prince Iyke?
Ikponmwosa Ogiugo, known by the stage name Prince Iyke, is a talented musician that grew up in the State.
He was born in Nigeria, Edo State before migrating to USA in the early 2000s, aged 18.
In USA, he lived in Peabody, MA, a city north of Boston and he graduated from the Peabody High School.
Prince is good with three languages (English, Pidgin, and Edo).
He started his music career as a drummer at the Christain Church in Lynn, MA.
Due to his trait with Nigeria, he was fortunate of being exposed to several sounds and music ideas - which he incorporated into his musical ideas.
Prince Iyke blends high-octane trap beats with a splash of Afro, Soul, and R&B vibes.
