If you have been watching the Nigeria Nollywood movie, you should know who is Rita Edochie.

The veteran actress, Rita Edochie is popularly known for her motherly role which she plays well in most movies.

She was birthed into this world on the 16th of April decades ago. She has reluctantly refuse to disclose her year of birth. The veteran actress was born at Onitsha in Anambra State. After her birth while she was a child, she lived with her uncle whose name is Mr. Okaka. Mr. Okaka saw Rita Edochie through Nursery, Primary and Secondary School. At the end of her Primary and Secondary School Education, she obtained a First School Leaving Certificate (FSLC) as well as a West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE). She grew up been the best among her equals, she a woman who has stood up for unfair acts, Rita is a good role model in the motherhood sector.

Rita Edochie attended the prestigious Nnamdi Azikiwe University located in Awka, Anambra State. She obtained Bachelor of arts in Mass Communication back in the year 1990. Rita Edochie was employed by the Anambra State Broadcasting Service as a Radio Presenter. She worked as a Radio Presenter in Anambra State Broadcasting Service till she ventured into acting in the year 1997. I will say this was where she gained the courage the experience of acting, since she studied Mass Communication and has been in the media for a while before she started acting in 1997.

The veteran actress has a husband whose name is Tony Edochie, he is the younger brother to the popularly known Pete Edochie. Their traditional marriage took place in the year 1988 and their white wedding in the year 1990. Below are photos of the husband and also there wedding photos.

Rita and her her husband where blessed with four children, Amanda Maria, Nkiru Edochie Great Valentine Edochie and Rondy Edochie.

Rita Edochie is not just a mother, she is also a grandmother.
