Meet Barry Jhay, the Son of the Late Fuji Icon, Alhaji Sikiru Ayinde Barrister

Oluwakayode Junior Balogun, popularly known by his stage name, Barry Jhay, is a Nigerian hip-pop singer and song writer. He was born to the popular late Fuji Icon, Alhaji Sikiru Ayinde Barrister, on 13th February 1993, in Ibadan, Nigeria.

Barry Jhay attended nursery and primary school, but didn’t get up to the university level, due to his pursuant in music. He began recording music at the age of 5. He dived fully into music, after the death of his father, and signed with the Cash Nation Entertainment.

The fast rising Nigerian music singer has made name for himself in the music industry. He has released some albums and couples of hit songs, which includes Money, Tomorrow, Olodo, Normal level, Ashe she, Daddy and many more.

He was nominated for the Most Promising Act of the Year at City People Music Award and won the Best New Act of the Year at City People Music Awards in 2018.

Barry Jhay is keeping up his father’s music legacy, as he didn't let the name of Alhaji Sikiru Ayinde Barrister, fade away. He has achieved a lot in the industry.
