But, that is not all. K1's music is also enjoyed and appreciated by a good section of the Royalty in Yoruba Land where the language he sings with is well understood. Because, for the Royal Fathers in question, if they have any event where an indegenous artiste is required to perform, it is usually K1 for them first, before any other artiste is considered. These Kings would only go for an alternative musician, if K1 is not available. In this piece, this writer would present to you 5 Royal Fathers in Yoruba Land who fall into that category. And the first on the list is His Royal Majesty, Oba Saheed Ademola Elegushi, Kusenla III, the Elegushi of Ikate-Elegushi Kingdom, Lagos State. For King Gushi, as the Monarch is also fondly called, he has been a K1's fan since the days he was still a Personal Assistant to political juggernaut and National Leader of All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. And after he ascended the throne of his forefathers, he still retained his love for the King of Fuji music.

The next Royal Father who holds K1 in a very high esteem is His Royal Highness, Oba Sulaiman Adeshina, the Oniba Ekun of Iba Kingdom, Lagos State. Jafo Authority as the stylish Royal Father is popularly known, was the Chairman of Nagari Nakowa Motorcycle Owners and Riders Association of Nigeria (NNAMORA), Lagos State Chapter, before he became a King in December, 2020. Jafo Authority had been an ardent fan of K1 as at his days in the Transport Union, and he still sustains it till date. The third Royal Father who doesn't joke with K1 as his favourite artiste is His Royal Highness, Oba (Dr.) Ifakayode Faluade Anikinnikun, the Olu of Ibogun-Balogun Kingdom, Ogun State. Simply called Ajigbotifa, the Monarch was a celebrity Ifa Priest long before he ascended the throne. And each time he wanted to have his Ifa Festival every December, back then, K1 was always on the band stand. And, that has not changed till date.

The fourth Royal Father who is an ardent fan of K1 is His Royal Majesty, Oba Saliu Adetunji Aje Ogungunniso 1, the Olubadan of Ibadan Land. Oba Saliu was into the entertainment industry as a record label owner, before ascending the throne. His record label, Babalaje Records, was one of the record labels that have released K1's albums in the past, and their father and son relationship began from that period. So, after becoming the King in Ibadan, Oba Saliu sustained his close bond with K1 as his favourite indegenous artiste. The last, but not the least Royal Father on the list, is His Royal Highness, Oba Abdul-Fatai Akorede Akamo Agbodere 1, the Olu of Itori Kingdom, Ogun State.

King Moor, as Oba Akamo is also fondly called has been a K1's man too since the days he was living and doing business abroad, before he later returned to Nigeria to ascend the throne of his forefathers. And, whenever he is having a big event in Itori, like his 60th birthday which he celebrated in October, 2020, he would ensure that K1 would be on the band stand, to thrill the people of Itori Kingdom with his melodious music.
