Rebecca Nengi Hampson was one of the BBNaija lockdown housemates, who is known in the house with her middle name, 'Nengi'. Nengi hails from Bayelsa State and she is a model before entering the Big Brother Naija House. However, Nengi has grown popular since the end of the show, stealing the spotlight from other female housemates and closely rated alongside Erica.
Nengi has been gradually building her brand and making an amazing name for herself via the entertainment industry. She has achieved lots of things since the end of the show making her gain much popularity. Just a few weeks ago, she became a house owner and she shared pictures of the luxurious property she acquired in Lagos State, Nigeria.
Nengi discloses that she bought the house without the help of any man which proves that her popularity in the entertainment industry has grown so much. She confidently placed the words out there by saying, if there is any man that has contributed a single penny to the money she used in acquiring the house, such a person should come out and identify himself.
This shows that Nengi has been working hard to safeguard herself without banking on anyone. Recall she was in the Davido video "Jowo" and this alone has given her enough popularity. She has also done adverts for different brands alongside Ozo, and spotted with singer Timaya, and hanged out with other Nollywood actors such as Ik Ogbonna. Among all, she is SSA to Bayelsa State Governor.
She might not have large numbers of fans like Laycon but she is indeed a star in the making, and with her winnings so far, that's how ex-BBN housemate Nengi has grown popular since the end of the show.
