Nigeria Idol: Emmanuel Got A Standing Ovation From The Judges And 4 Other Interesting Observations

Nigeria Idol Season 6 has continuously thrilled the hearts of music fans with its usual excitement and fanfare from the amazing talents of the contestants. Fans always looked forward to an awe-inspiring experience every Sunday evening.

Last night's episode was not free from the usual astounding performances that are associated with the popular music talent hunt reality television show.

Unfortunately, one of the contestants, Daniel was sent packing last night. Much tears were not shed for him because he has impressed most of the viewers.

1. Kingdom came prepared last night

One of the greatest performers of last night's episode is Kingdom. Right from the beginning of this season, this Bayelsa State-born singer has never hidden the fact that he is gunning for the prize.

Kingdom totally killed Toni Braxton's Unbreak My Heart. I love his vocal dexterity.

2. Comfort is always uncomfortable

One of the contestants that have never impressed me is Comfort. She always seems to be struggling with her voice or posture.

Interestingly, she has a lot of fans on social media. Maybe that is what is keeping her on the show. My opinion, though.

3. Beyonce seems to improve more in her appearance than her stage performance

I was expecting something wonderful last night from Beyonce after her electrifying performance the weekend before, however, I was not too impressed with the way she sang Rihanna's Unfaithful. She could not be fueled by the passion that comes to the song.

That notwithstanding, I love her physical appearance. It seems that she is getting prettier as the show progresses.

4. Faith Jason resurrected Micheal Jackson

Faith made viewers reminisced on the life and time of the legendary Micheal Jackson's hit track, You Are Not Alone.

He was so good with the song that the ever-stolid Seyi Shey had to stand up to applaud him.

5. Emmanuel ended the show with a bang

Emmanuel who was the last contestant during last night episode, gave an excellent rendition of Seal's 1994 hit single Kiss From A Rose that raised the judges off their seats to give him a standing ovation.

Talking about saving the best for the last.

We now have seven contestants remaining in the show. Do you want to know who is going home next weekend? Do yourself a great favour and just follow this page.
