Lady who resigned from her workplace for Nigerian Idol finally released a statement

The sixth edition of the Nigerian Idol hosted by media personality, IK Osakioduwa kicked off few weeks ago, and it has been a rollercoaster of emotions for contestants who were able to wow the the judges with their performance as they were able to obtain the only authentic pass to the next round which is the golden ticket. Meanwhile, the show has also witnessed contestants who broke down in uncontrollable tears after they got three "NOs" from the judges as their voices were adjudged not to be an Idol material.

This is the case of a lady identified as Okereafor Onyinyechi with the Instagram handle rachi_sparkle who is from Imo State. After her performance, she got three Nos from the judges.However, Onyinye refused to leave stage after she was denied the golden ticket to go for the next round, she was crying,: "i resigned my job for this, making it here cost me my job, please give me another opportunity to sing once more". When the whole scene was becoming too dramatic, the judges left their seats, while still on her knees begging, but one of the security personnel intervened and dragged her out of the auditioning room.

Her adamant attitude generated mixed reactions, while others encouraged her to work more on herself, others opined that the judges were being honest and they were doing their job. After the whole drama, the young participant, Onyinye released a statement via her Facebook handle, Okereafor Onyinyechi. See how she expressed her emotions below:

Nigerian Idol is a platform where upcoming artist showcase their raw singing talent. The participants are assessed by three judges, Singer Seyi Shay, Disc Jockey (DJ) Sose, and music executive Obi Asika. For participant to get the golden ticket for the next round, their performance requires at least two "YES" from the judges.
