To him, he believes many sectors of the country is in a state of confusion and does not know which is more confused amongst them. This is as a result of the recent happenings in the country.
Watch Video below:
Prior to this, the incumbent governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Godwin Emefiele, released a memorandum where a deadline for the spending of high valued naira notes, 1000, 500 and 200 was given which was on the 10th February, 2023. However, due to insufficient circulation of the new notes, many could not access it. After so much back and forth with some of the governors in the country, the supreme Court ruled against the deadline and extended it to December, 2023.
However, traders and many other business organizations have refused to accept the notes from customers where some stated that a confirmation to this ruling by the CBN Governor needs to be released. This has caused a lot of uproar in the country.
Many expressed their disappointment and frustration as a reply to this video including celebrities.
