She hails from Delta state, Nigeria. She attended the university of Lagos where she studied theatre arts. She is an award winning actress and a singer. In 2009 she won Africa Movie Academy Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role and also in 2012 she won the Golden Icons Academy Awards for Best Actress in the movie Two Brides And A Baby.
