American Musician and Business Mogul, Jay Z and his wife visited Nigeria in 2006. The couple were invited by the then Governor of Kwara, Bukola Saraki to visit and tour his State. The Ex-Governor also named a street after the Singer and he was also conferred with a title called 'The Sarkin Waka of Ilorin'.
The couple spent some days in Nigeria and they did a lot of Philanthropy work before they left the Country. They also met with other Prominent Nigerians which includes the Emir of Ilorin named Alhaji Ibrahim Gambari.
American singer, Toni Braxton visited Nigeria in 2019. She stated that she was enjoying her time in the beautiful Country and also praised the Local Music Scene, she also cited Teni the Entertainer as her favorite Nigerian Musician. According to reliable Source, Toni Braxton was opportune to meet with Top Politicians during her visit.
She met the Former Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed at an event and she also met with Godwin Emefiele, the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria. After she left the Country, she stated that Nigeria is a beautiful place and that she will surely visit again.
