Popular Fuji musician, Muri Thunder, has taken to his Instagram page on Wednesday to celebrate the tenth year remembrance of late Fuji icon, Alhaji Sikiru Ayinde, popularly called Barrister. Muri said today makes it ten years since the late Fuji legend died. He said he remembered him today and pray that Allah reposes his soul.
Also, Fuji musician, Rasheed Atanda, popularly known as Shanko Rasheed has joined Muri to remember the late Fuji king.
Shanko said that no doubt the late Fuji King lives on. He prayed that God will his family and fans worldwide. Fans have also prayed for the repose of the soul of the late Fuji icon.
Sikiru Ayinde Barrister was born in Ibadan, Oyo state, in February 1948. He was regarded as the pioneer of Fuji music in Nigeria. He died on 16th December 2010, at a London hospital. He was also known as Alhaji Agba by his fans. He won several awards during his lifetime.
