Adesua Etomi and Banky W are one of the most influential and lovely celebrity couples in Nigeria.
Tolulope Adesua Etomi was born in Owerri, Imo State to a father who is a soldier from Esan descent and her mother who is an engineer of Yoruba descent.
She is the youngest out of her three siblings. She obtained a diploma in physical theatre, musical theatre and performing arts from City College Coventry in 2004. And in 2006, she went ahead to study drama and performance at the University of Wolverhampton where she graduated with first-class honours.
Meanwhile the R&B singer Banky W was born in the United States to Nigerian parents. His family moved back to Nigeria when he was five years old. He started singing at a young age in his church choir.
Banky attended Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, New York on a scholarship for his tertiary education. He started his record label E.M.E in 2002 while studying. In 2009, he left the US for Nigeria and established his record label in Lagos where he signed artists like Niyola , Shaydee, Skales and Wizkid to the label at the time.
In 2015, Banky and Adesua met at an event in according to Adesua, their meeting was the beginning of something amazing. they started dating after been friends for a year and a half.
After the couple kicked off their relationship, on february 2017 Banky and Adesua got engaged. The couple held their traditional marriage on the 19th of November, court wedding and white wedding on the 20th and 25th of November 2017.
