Confirming the incident, Shatta Wale's Personal Assistant, Nana Dope, asked Ghanaians to keep Shatta Wale in their prayers via his Snapchat.
He also urged the singer's fans to stop sharing the video of him in a pool of blood on social media.
Troops neutralise 20 terrorists in Borno
Troops of the Joint Task Force, North East Operation Hadin Kai (OPHK), have eliminated 20 Boko Haram/Islamic State of West Africa Province (ISWAP) terrorists at Chabbal area in Jere Local Government Area of Borno.

Maj.-Gen. Christopher Musa, Theatre Commander, stated this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Maiduguri on Tuesday.
At around 7:00 p.m., the terrorists mounted several gun trucks in a coordinated attack through the agrarian community and began shooting sporadically, according to Musa.
He stated that troops on alert for terrorist movement thwarted the attack, killing 16 terrorists in the process.
“Four more terrorists wounded during the gunfight were discovered dead this morning, which brings the total number of those killed to 20,” he added.

Imo governor Hope Uzodimma has asked Muslim faithful to use the occasion of Eid-el-Maulud to pray for the country and eschew all forms of violence.

Muslims worldwide are commemorating the birth of Prophet Mohammad, Eid-el-Maulud on Tuesday.
"I urge our Muslim brothers to fervently pray for peace, unity, and tolerance in Nigeria, and to reject all forms of violence and lawlessness," Mr Uzodinma said in a message distributed by his spokesman, Oguwike Nwachuku, to commemorate the occasion.
The governor urged Muslim faithful not only to emulate Mohammad, but also use the occasion to deepen the virtues of love, patience and perseverance which the prophet preached and stood for.
Tambuwal urges Army to review military operations strategies

Tambuwal stated this during a courtesy visit to the Government House by Chief of Army Staff Lieutenant General Faruk Yahaya on Monday, October 18, 2021.

The Governor stated that the recent attacks on Goronyon village of the state was quite disheartening and therefore informed the need to review strategies of military operations in the zone to prevent a reccurrence.
“He further called for collective effort among citizens and security agencies to fish out perpetrators of heinous crimes in the society,” the statement partly read.
