According to a short video clip shared by Fauziyya D. Sulaiman, a popular philanthropist from the Northern part of Nigeria, through whose foundation the popular Kannywood director, Ashiru Nagoma was treated at the hospital after he suffered from mental health problem.
In the video, Ashiru Nagoma was seen standing near Fauziyya D. Sulaiman in an uncompleted building which Fauziyya said belonged to him. Fauziyya D. Sulaiman said, "I am Fauziyya D. Sulaiman, if you remember, some days ago we shared with you the story of how Ashiru Nagoma was suffering from mental health problems, and we promised to take him to Malam Aminu Hospital Kano through our foundation".
She continued saying, "as I am talking to you right now, he has recovered and discharged from hospital, we are now in his unfinished house".
She added that, "we thank all the people that are funding our foundation, and we also want to thank some of his Kannywood colleagues who assisted us with cash, such as Aisha Humair who gave us ₦30,000, Rarara who gave us ₦50,000 and Ali Nuhu who also gave us some money".
