“I Was Called Mr. Cash Money When I Was Broke” -Yul Edochie Reveals

Nollywood actor, producer, movie director, philanthropist and politician Yul Edochie, has taken to his official social media handle to reveal the name he once answered, before he became famous.

According to Yul Edochie, he was known as ‘Mr. Cash Money’, as the name didn’t change his fortune rather hard work and the grace of God made the difference in his life.

Regarded as one of the most hardworking and consistent actors in the industry, Yul Edochie has starred in over 100 Nollywood movies as he is the last son of veteran actor, Pete Edochie. 

“Life is funny. About 13 years ago, when I no get shishi, my nickname was Mr. Cash Money. Meanwhile, Mr. Cash Money was jumping bus to Surulere just to attend audition. Today by God’s grace I have seen small change, I don’t even want anything cash attached to my name. Just call me Yul, I’m ok.” Yul Edochie’s social media post reads.
