Major Reason Popular Singer Dolly Parton At 75, Has No Biological Children Of Her Own

Dolly Parton will forever be loved for her contributions to folk music and her magical voice which kept our hearts warm through the 70's to this very day. Her real name is Dolly Rebecca Parton (born January 19, 1946), she is the fourth child out of 12 children from her father and obviously the most popular amongst her siblings. Dolly got married On May 30, 1966, to Carl Thomas Dean.

She admits that her husband's friendship with a female banker motivated her to writing the song "Jolene", which was her best selling song. She also admits that her husband has never been a public person, and he has only seen her perform on stage just once. The 75-year old singer made it known that she is proud of her marriage which happens to be the first and only marriage of both she and her husband. But the couple have no children of their own, even if they helped raised the children and grandchildren of Dolly's siblings who call her "Aunt granny".

The reason she doesn't have a child is because she was diagnosed with "Endometriosis," a condition which causes cells to grow outside the uterus and causes infertility in most women who are diagnosed with the medical condition. The situation eventually required her to undergo a hysterectomy.

Dolly is the godmother of Miley Cyrus and is known to do all it takes to look young as she has undergone a lot of surgeries over the years. She talks about her husband's romantic side alot, and made it known that she is always happy being his girl.
