He grew up with his parents in the Papa Ajao area of Mushin, Area Lagos State, Nigeria .Mike went to the Federal Government College, Taraba and Archbishop Aggey Memorial School, Lagos. He then proceeded to Nnamdi Azikiwe University where he studied Accounting.
His parents later moved to the Ilupeju area of Lagos. As a child, he lacked nothing as his family was well to do meanwhile the death of his father brought everything to zero and forced his family to survive. However, his mother took control of the situation and started working hard to ensure her children had a needless life.
Mike Ezuruonye’s acting career happened by chance, his faith found him. He initially was a banker. He was spotted by nollywood popular producer, Ruke Amata while buying fuel at a filling station and recommended he goes into acting.
His professional debut was in the TV series called “Ultimate Hero”. He was given his first big role in 2003 by the movie producer Dickson Iroegbu, in the film “Broken Marriage” which brought him to limelight.
He his Happily married Keke Nkechi Nnorom whom he met on a movie set in Abuja. The couple got married on the 13th of November, 2010 making their marraige 9 years old.
His wife used to work as a medical psychologist in Canada before she moved to Nigeria not long before meeting Mike. They dated for a while before they got married. Their marraige is blessed with two beautiful lovely children.
The handsome actor is also a big fan of cars. He owns numerous expensive models, and he doesn’t just love brand new vehicles – he also loves vintage cars. Some of the models in his collection were gifted to him by friends, while others have been purchased personally by Mike Ezuruonye himself.
