The Nigerian reality TV star and parenting blogger, Florence Wathoni Anyansi popularly known as Wathoni, has made a comment about what has been holding her back from going fully into the Nigerian film industry as an actress.
Wathoni who appeared in the 2020 edition of Big Brother Naija reality show made the comment on her Instagram page on Sunday morning, while having a question and answer session with her fans on social media. The single mother of one took to her Instagram story earlier today, and told her fans to ask her any personal question they would like her to answer.
Meanwhile, amongst the questions that were put across to her was, if she has ever considered going into the Nollywood industry, since she is blessed with a beautiful appearance. However, while the mother of one confessed to having thought of the idea of joining the industry many times, she stated that she is being held back because women's body is what helps them in the industry.
Meanwhile, the comment has started generating different reactions on social media with some people backing Wathoni on her stance, while some others believe the statement is uncalled for because there are many Nigerian actresses who made it to the top solely due to their hard-working.
