To usher in the Holy Month of Ramadan 2021, the Governor of the Ogun State Chapter of Islamic Musicians' Association of Nigeria (ISMAN), Alhaji (Dr.) Omolegbe Sakirudeen Akorede popularly known as Sakirudeen Ori, has dropped a new song on Ramadan.
The new single which is titled: " Ramadan Mubarak" and was recently released online for download is loaded with messages and prayers for the listeners. And despite a good number of other Islamic music singers dropping different versions of singles and albums for Ramadan too, Shakirudeen Ori's single still stands out amongst the rest.
The Abeokuta, Ogun State, based artiste is one of the shining stars in the Islamic music industry in Nigeria. And his good nature and conviviality were said to be some of the attributes that his colleagues in ISMAN considered to elect him their Governor in Ogun State, a position which is reported that he has been holding excellently since he was elected.
Blessed with distinct baritone voice, his music is not hard to distinguish once it is being played any where. And his new single which deeply spoke about the importance of Ramadan fasting to Muslims, has come to further cement his position as a leading Islamic artiste in Nigeria.
