Celebrities have taken this social media money making strategy too far and something has to be done about it. The latest thing they do now, is make money off their babies. They open social media pages for their infants and expose them to millions of people around the world all in a bid to bag endorsement and advertisement deals.
The above is a screenshot of the page one of Nollywood's top actresses, Ruth Kadiri opened for her daughter Reign. If you check the page you will notice that she has been doing it since the birth of the baby. Exposing an innocent infant to a world as wicked as ours.Ruth Kadiri is not the only one, many Nigerian celebrities do this online marketing thing, where they market their children. The above is a screenshot of the page Paul Okoye(Rude boy) opened for his twins. Nadia Buari has four beautiful kids, if she is to open a page for even one of them, they will have lots of advertising gigs and endorsement deals because of their beauty. However, the actress chose to protect them from social media. Even when she posts photos of them, their faces don't show. Some people ignorantly call it pride but it is nothing but a mother choosing to protect her children. Don't you think she deserves to be applauded? State your opinion below.
