There was a special royal dance today at the dinner party marking the 45th birthday of the Elegushi of Ikateland, Oba Saheed Ademola. The colourful event had in attendance Oluwo of Iwo land, Oba AbdulRashed Akanbi who happens to be a close friend of the young monarch!
It was a special ocasion because the two monarchs didn't appear in a usual traditional attire! They dressed like corporate guys and took to the dancing floor with the boys while popular Nigerian hip hop singer Patoranking entertained them.
Before now, Oluwo had extolled Oba Elegushi on his 45th birthday. He felicitated with whom he described as "dynamic colleague and friend", the Elegushi of Ikateland, HRM Oba Saheed Ademola. In a very lengthy post he shared on his official Facebook page, Oluwo said the monarch is a pride of the revered traditional institution.
He then prayed for long life, strength, elevation beyond imagination on the throne of his forefathers. He wished him, family and subjects the best opportunities of his reign.

It is interesting to note that the first-class monarch has been in joyous mood since 5 days ago after some of Iwo indigenes were appointed for Governing boards and councils for the newly established Federal College of Education, Iwo!
