Ayodeyi ibrahim born 16 July 1990 popularly known as Wizkd is a Nigerian singer and songwriter. Wizkid signed a record deal with Empire Mate Entertainment (E.M.E) in 2009. He rose to prominence after releasing "Holla at your boy", the lead single from his debut studio album "Super star". Some of his Albums Includes "Super star", "Ayo" and "Sound from the side". He has also featured in songs both locally and internationally including "The Lion King" album by Beyonce.

Corona Virus pandemic: The corona virus pandemic ravaging the world has caused so many devastating effects including the Entertainment industry is not spared.
Lack of adequate promotion: wizkid lack the promotional capacity courtesy the corona virus, Promotions such Radio and television shows, Concerts, Giveaways, social media challenges etc.
Over waiting: wizkid die hard fans have over waited for a very long time for the album making them lose interest.
Over hyped: The album was over hyped by his fans making it not interesting to watch out for.
Competition: So many other artist were supposed to drop the Albums this month, making the contention too tight.
