Angela Eguavoen - I Was Young And Naïve When I Stopped Acting

Beautiful and sexy Nollywood actress, Angela Eguavoen who is also a movie producer after debuting with the film titled “Stillborn” was naïve when she quit the acting stage for a year.

According to the "Seductive Side Chick" star actress, she left the acting scene because of her relationship.

She said, "I once stopped acting for a year because the guy I was dating then didn’t want me to act and I was so in love with him."

Recounting her experience after she broke up with the same man, for whom she had quit acting, Angela said, “I have never thought of giving up on acting, not even for a single day, but, I was young and naïve then.”

Eguavoen who started acting in 2013, while in the University said that, such a naïve decision would not happen again.

The budding actress who observed her National youth service (NYSC) in Port Harcourt, Nigeria, says it is wrong for people to always assume curvy, fair complexion and beautiful ladies are prostitutes.

The actress who starred in "Our Dirty Secrecy" said this in an encounter with Nollygistv, as she narrated her experience while at the NYSC camp in PH.

In Angela's words, "I have had this experience severally, but one that sticks out was my NYSC experience, where some of my peers thought I was a runs girl."

The 'Caught Cheating' actress stated how one of his male colleagues at the NYSC camp had jumped to conclusion that she was a prostitute because of extroverts, but would later find out that she wasn't, and had to apologize for his erroneous assumption.

The fast-rising actress concluded that it is a blessing to being curvy and being beautiful as ladies, hence, no one, especially men, should consider them as sex machines.

In her words, “Being curvy, light-skinned, beautiful, and expressive comes with a lot because when people see one, especially men, the first thing they think about is sex."

In June 2020, Eguavoen had asserted that she is never a good girl when it comes to having sexual intercourse, because, sex is a serious business. She said, “Sex is beautiful, anytime this is the case I am never a good girl when it is time for action.”
