Gobe which means trouble in Yoruba, is a hit song by Nigerian artiste Davido. Till date, Gobe is said to be one of the biggest songs of Nigerian artiste and also DMW boss, Davido. Davido released 'Gobe' as his first single from his album 7 years ago.
'Gobe' which was peaked at No 1 on MTV Base Official Naija Top Ten Chart, surpassed Banky W's Yes/No as at then. The song stayed at the top of the music chart for three weeks and was eventually toppled by Kcee's 'Limpopo'. The new school generation won't be familiar with these mentioned songs.
Well, it might be surprising that most people never knew the lady who was featured in the song to act as Davido's girlfriend. Though several other video vixens were featured in the video but the one who acted as Davido's girlfriend is Lola Rae. Some people might be familiar with this name.
Rachel Akosua Funmilola Garton, professionally known as Lola Rae is a Nigerian-born singer and dancer of Ghanaian and British descent. She came into limelight after she released her single 'Watch my ting go'. In 2018, Lola Rae gave birth to a daughter named Skye Yan Amaka Kelechi whose father is Nigerian singer, Tekno.
Lola Rae happens to be the first female artiste to be signed by Davido to join the DMW team.
7 years after her epic performance in Davido's music video 'Gobe', here's how she looks like in recent photos
As can be seen in her photos, Lola Rae is indeed a beautiful lady.
