The sixth season of the Nigerian Idol, was first premiered on the 14th of March 2021, before it officially kicked off with eleven contestants who made it to the finals. Seven contestants has been evicted so far, before the latest episode of the show which aired on Sunday, 27th of June 2021.
Comfort Alalade who was among the top four Nigerian Idol finalists had been evicted from the show after she got the lowest number of votes. This her exit, left three other contestants, Emmanuel, Akunna, and Kingdom battling for the prize.
Comfort got the judges mesmerised with her good vibes during the auditioning which paved way for her to be among the top eleven contestants to make it to the show.
However, many are of the opinion that comfort was supposed to have been evicted from the competition in the time past following series of mistakes from her during the theatre week stage, many reactions from Nigerians clearly shows that they long expected her eviction.
