Emeka Ike is a famous and a multiple award-winning Nollywood actor, film maker, politician, entrepreneur and a philanthropist. He has been in the movie industry for over two decades now and has been able to carve a niche for himself as one of the most successful and respected actors in Nigeria.
Emeka Ike was born on the 22nd of March, 1967 in Mbano, Imo State in the south eastern part of Nigeria. He’s originally from Aba-branch in Ehime Mbano Local Government Area of Imo State. He attended University of Lagos where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Emeka Ike joined the Nigerian movie industry also known as Nollywood in 1995 and starting acting as a minor character in movies. He got his major breakthrough in the movie industry after one of his senior colleague in the industry Ernest Obi introduced him to a movie producer. Few years later, he rose to fame after featuring in the blockbuster movie “Not Man Enough”.
Emeka Ike has acted in several hit Nollywood movies which includes; Passion And Pain, My Beloved, Divided Kingdom, I Want Your Wife, Foreign Affairs, Not Man Enough, Queen Sheba, Peace Maker, Love Doctor and many more. He is well known for his roles as a play boy in most Nollywood movies.
