The Management of Club Quilox, located at Victoria Island, Lagos State, has debunked the false news flying around that the club has been sealed off by the Lagos State Government for contravening the state's environmental law and COVID-19 guidelines.
This was contained in an official statement released on its social media platforms, where the management revealed that the popular night club has no affiliation or relationship whatsoever with the Ajah Quilox Pool and Bar that was reported to have been sealed by the Lagos State Government on 20th July 2020.
The statement, titled Disclaimer Notice, read in part:
"The attention of @clubquilox has been drawn to a notification by @followlasg on Twitter on the 20th of July 2020 that Quilox Pool and Bar Ajah was sealed for contravening Lagos State environmental laws.
"It is important to state categorically that the said Quilox Pool and Bar bear no affiliation or relationship of any sort with Quilox Nightclub. Our legal team has been notified to take necessary action regarding this misrepresentation/impersonation of the Quilox brand and the attendant reputational damage."
In addition, the management stated categorically that Club Quilox is a law-abiding brand that strongly considers COVID-19 guidelines and protocols precautionary measure that must be strictly be adhered with, and that the club has not been operational since the lockdown order of the state government.
"The brand @clubquilox is a law-abiding corporate entity that has followed the COVID 19 protocols to the latter. The business has also been non-operational since the Lagos State Government directives which were issued in March 2020 and will remain shut until such directive is lifted."
Moreover, the management of Quilox used the opportunity to call on media outlets to verify news before publishing on their platforms to avoid misleading members of the public, while it expressed profound gratitude to its customers and well wishers for their concerns.
