A few hours ago, it was reported that the House of representatives received a proposal to change Nigeria's name to United African Republic (UAR). Ever since the recent development surfaced online, people have been reacting and airing their respective opinions.
Just a moment ago, actress Mercy Aigbe took to her Instagram account and dropped a statement that gained the attention of her followers. Sharing the post, the movie star asked if changing Nigeria's name would solve the numerous problems the country is facing currently
Actress Mercy also used the same opportunity and revealed that she is sick of the legislators and fed up with the system.
"So I heard that some people are proposing that Nigeria should be given a new name. Abeg is the name the issue? Abi will changing the name solve our numerous problems? Walai I am tired of these our law makers, exasperated with the system".
