Oby Edozie: Nollywood Actress Who has been missing on screen (Photos)

Oby Edozie is a Nigerian actress and film producer.

She graduated from Lagos State University (LASU) where she studied Theatre Arts. She came into Nollywood in 1997 after her lecturer, veteran actor Sola Fosudo at LASU gave her a note to Zeb Ejiro. Her first movie was Love and Be Cherished where she played a supporting role. However, she got her first lead role in her third movie.

Over the years, she starred in a couple of movies in which she mostly played raunchy and naughty roles. She has acted alongside the heavyweights in the movie industry. In the late 2000s, she appeared less on screen till she finally disappeared. In an interview with Nigeriafilms, she said she went into movie production. That explains why her face has been missing on screen.

In 2011, she got married to veteran musician Alex O, who was one of the leading artists in the 90s. The marriage was held at Ikoyi registry, Lagos. The couple met some years ago in London and started dating before Alex proposed to her. The union is presently blessed with two kids.

The actress still acts but she is more into movie production with the support of her husband who is now into animation, music composition, and film production.

Some of her movies are; Abuja Connection, Supremacy, Golden Moon, Jealous Lover, Save Our Soul, Blindfold, Serpent in Paradise, Crime Planner, Runs, Colours of Emotion, Magic Love, Bitter Honey, among others.
