Is This The "Olu Jacobs" We Used To Know? He Looks Much Older And Different Now (Pictures)

Age is no longer on the side of Olu Jacobs, his recent pictures are testament to that. Kindly read this article patiently.

Who doesn’t know the legendary Nollywood actor Olu Jacobs, the man that took Nollywood industry to another level. A man that acted alongside Pete Edochie, Enebeli Elebuwa, Sam Loco Efe, Sam Dede and other old Nollywood actors.

A man full of talent, charisma and simplicity. He is that type of man who can be easily regarded as “a perfect actor”, an actor that showed his great talent right from his entrance into movie industry in 1980s. He is among the few Nigerian actors who have featured in international movies.

His recent pictures have shown a different thing from what we used to see in recent years. Even though it is obvious that age is no longer on his side, his recent picture look more different than the ones he took three years ago. Could it be as a result of so many illnesses usually encountered in old ages? If that is the case, we shouldn’t be surprised at all.

One thing that is clear is that Uncle Olu Jacobs has made his mark in Nollywood industry, his name have been glued to the wall of Nigerian film industry and can never be forgotten. During his time, he showed us what a movie should look like. As a film interpreter, producer and organiser, he is a perfect role model for the upcoming nollywood actors.

Earlier this year, his wife Joke Silver rubbished series of rumours about her husband’s death. She married Olu Jacobs in 1989,and up till now, they are still living happily together.

Olu Jacobs is currently 78 years old and still counting. Looking at his current age, I believe that his recent look is justified. He has made his mark in Nollywood, he acted like a lion, and will forever remain in the heart of Nigerians.
