There have been a stir on social media lately after popular Nigerian twin brothers and members of P Square music group, Peter and Paul Okoye, settled their differences and reunited after over 5 years. Recall that in 2017, the duo had a misunderstanding with each other and parted ways, and decided to become solo artists with the brand name Mr P and Rudeboy.

After the news of their reunion went viral, it caused a lot reactions online as many fans and Nigerian celebrities applauded the singers for reconciling their differences. One of the Nigerian celebrities that reacted to the news is popular Nollywood actor, Emmanuel Ehumadu. In a post shared on Instagram, the actor made claims that the twin brothers decided to reconcile when they found out that they were going out of market as solo artists.

At a point in time when many Nigerians and celebrities are commending Paul and Peter Okoye for allowing peace to reign between them, one could only imagine why the actor feels the decision of the singers to reunite is because they were not excelling as solo artists, even though the brothers have not complained about their individual music careers.
In my opinion, I think Emmanuel's claims that Paul and Peter Okoye decided to reconcile because they were going out of market as solo artists may not be true, since he is not their manager and he did not tender any proof to back up his claims.
In my opinion, considering the fact that they have kids looking up to them, I think the reason the duo decided to reconcile may be because the grudges they have harbored against each other have stayed too long, and since they were turning a year older, it was the best time for them to bury their differences and further strengthen a lasting bond in their family.

As brothers, I think holding grudges against themselves and allowing it stay for over five years was not best for them, since it has always been the demand of their fans to see them together. I think the decision of the brothers to reunite was meant to strengthen the bond in their family, and not a business strategy as Emmanuel Ehumadu asserted.
